My Secret World is being screened in Madrid as part of the Madrid Popfest at around 8.30 p.m. on Thursday, 2nd March at Generation X, a comic store in Malasaña, and there’ll be a Q&A with Clare afterwards. The actual popfest is at the weekend, and Clare will also be DJing between 1 a.m. and 2.30 a.m. on Saturday night.
We’re still working on filling in some of the gaps in what’s available online for download/streaming, but the good news is that you can now finally hear all the tracks from the Orchids’ singles that weren’t included on Epicurean or our label compilations. For simplicity, we’ve collected them together under the title Thaumaturgy and other singles, which means you can download all 21 tracks, from I’ve Got A Habit to Between Sleeping and Waking, for the price of a single album. Or just stream them on Spotify…
Those of a certain age who’ve gone a complete blank on what happened in January 1993 and would really like to be reminded will be pleased to hear that the “missing” Sarah Newsletter, Number Two, has now been added to our library – like all the rest, you can find it under Texts/Newsletters. Or you can just click the image on the left (it’s a 2MB pdf). Younger readers who didn’t realise there’d ever been a January 1993 can have their eyes opened by doing likewise.
